Ben Aan
Ben Aan is a small iconic hill in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs national park. Ben Aan has a pointed summit standing at 454m which overlooks Loch Katrine.

The Callander Crags are situated just above Callander, they offer tremendous views to the mountains and lochs in the of the Highlands.
The rocky Crags were formed nearly 400 million years ago from the movements of the tectonic plates.


Queen Elizabeth Forest Park
The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park is a a large forest within the Loch Lomond and Trossach national park. The was established in 1953, the year of the coronation of Elizabeth II.

Loch Lubnaig is a small freshwater loch which lies inbetween Ben Ledi and Ben Vorlich near Callander. The loch is 5km long and is located within the Loch Lomond national park.

Callander Hiking Trails
1. Ben Aan
Distance - 3.7 km
Time - 1.5 h
Elevation - 330 m
Difficulty - Easy
The path up to the summit of Ben Aan starts at the car park located at the base of the hill. The walk up to the summit starts off fairly steep then flattens out. At the middle section of this walk you will be surrounded by majestic wilderness with the summit in sight. From the summit of Ben Aan you can see loch Katrine. Find this route here
2. Ben Ledi

Elevation - 782 m
Difficulty - Moderate
Ben Ledi is a small mountain located just outside Callander, the summit offers beautiful views across the surrounding peaks and valleys. The route starts climbing the moment you leave the trailhead in a zigzag the trail is often steep and muddy before you reach the summit. Find this route here
3. Ben Lomond
Distance - 12.4 km
Time - 5.5 h
Elevation - 941 m
Difficulty - Hard
The start of the trail to the top of the most southern Munro Ben Lomond starts at Rowardennan. The route to the summit is fairly steady and the path is well maintained. The path begins in a beautiful scenic woodland then gets more exposed to the elements as you ascend. You will reach the south peak then there is a small ridge to the summit. Find this route here
