Loch Tay
Loch Tay is a freshwater Loch located on the edge of the town of Killin. Loch Tay is the largest body of fresh water in Perth and Kinross, and the sixth largest loch in Scotland with a length 23km and a width of 2.4km.

The falls of Dochart run through the small town of Killin, in the Loch Lomond national Park. The falls of Dochart are located at the western end of Loch Tay.


Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve
Ben Lawers is one of Scotland’s highest Munros at a height of 1,214m The surrounding nature reserve is named after this Munro and is protected by the national trust Scotland.

Finlarig Castle is a 17th-century castle which is located on a mound inbetween and Loch Tay and River Lochay. The castle ruins hold rich history and are nearby to the town of Killin.

1. Falls Of Dochart

Difficulty - Moderate
The beginning of this trail starts in Killin, the route heads over the River Dochart with views of the rapids from the falls just before entering the pine forest. The path then climbs towards Lochan Lairog Cheile. The trail then returns back to the start. Find this route here
2. Ben Lawers
Distance - 11.4 km

Elevation - 934 m
Difficulty - Hard
This route up Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas follows along the magestic Burn of Edramurchy stream, before begining the steep ascent of Beinn Ghlas. From the Beinn Ghlas summit you will get incredible views of Loch Tay., the trail continues along the ridge between the peaks to the summit of Ben Lawers. Find this route here
3. Ben Lomond

Time - 5.5 h
Elevation - 941 m
Difficulty - Hard
The start of the trail to the top of the most southern Munro Ben Lomond starts at Rowardennan. The route to the summit is fairly steady and the path is well maintained. The path begins in a beautiful scenic woodland then gets more exposed to the elements as you ascend. You will reach the south peak then there is a small ridge to the summit. Find this route here
